Overview
The Roehampton Master of Arts in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy programme is an intensive dual specialisation programme that is based on a rich understanding of the complexities of human behaviour. It offers a deep insight into why we think and act the way we do, and how to empower people to act differently.
This programme offers over 603 hours of face-to-face including
- 333 hours of face-to-face teaching and practical
- 70 hours of personal therapy sessions.
- 200 practicum hours with clients under qualified supervision
The programme is delivered by academics and practitioners who are leading experts in their field and taught by means of interactive lectures and seminars, experiential skills workshops, small clinical supervision groups, and personal development work. Much of your learning will be by a process of reflection on the experience of skills practiced and the use of demonstration, observation, self, peer, and tutor feedback as well as more traditional academic study.

Programme Structure
The 24 Months Roehampton MA includes 11 modules designed to provide you with the necessary skills to work with a wide range of people with a range of psychological issues in a variety of settings. Structured around the work commitments and priorities of working professionals. This is a 100% coursework-based programme.
Admission Criteria
Participants are expected to contribute to the class learning experiences in a cohort and peer learning environment. You will be assessed based on experience, aptitude, potential, and skills.
Language Proficiency
GCE O Level English C6 and above / Minimum IELTS 5.5 / For mature students, the language proficiency will be assessed by the school on a case-by-case basis.
